A theatre company with a difference...
Founded in 2016 in Forest Row, East Sussex, we are a theatre company with sketch comedy at the heart of what we do. With humble beginnings (a one night only in the studio room of the village hall) we have now grown to performing sell-out residencies at our new bespoke venue at Springhill Farm.
We are currently in development with creative partners to broaden our theatre programme and are steadily building our community outreach to work with teenagers and young people with a keen interest in comedy.

We aim to provide both an entertaining and memorable experience which is unique in its format and of the highest level in its execution. Our ambition lies in the joy of creating original funny content that allows the court jester to poke fun at the King… and the King can't but help laugh."

The method behind the madness
Mike Sengelow is an actor (Wonder Woman 1984, The Crown, Bridgerton, Father Brown, Slow Horses) writer, and director specialising in all forms of comedy. He performed all these roles on the sketch comedy television series ‘Skitz’ which ran for seven series and won the Best Entertainment Programme at the New Zealand Television Awards. He has directed all of The Frow Show's since 2016 and also acted in many of them. Mike and James also own Sketchhouse, a video production company specialising in the end-to-end production of bespoke comedy video content for business.

James McCabe has been writing scripts for the best part of 25 years. He has over two decades’ experience as a London advertising creative/ copywriter writing TV, radio and digital advertising. He has written for agencies of all sizes and from most market sectors including many of the top 20 digitaladvertising agencies in London, including Sapient, AKQA, DigitasLBi and RAPP. James has scripted several plays and comedy short films. For over eight years he has co-produced and written for The Frow Show, at the Brighton Fringe and Byline Festival.
