outreach

We are committed to providing community-based theatre that reaches and involves sectors of our society that do not normally have close involvement or exposure to theatrical events.

the teenageR mentoring program

In February 2023 we ran a pilot Teenager Mentoring Program. This was used to develop and design an effective program which will not only effectively engage participants but ensure we could measure the success of the program for a more substantial program in 2025.

The program is designed to educate, inspire and motivate the next generation of creatives in the Forest Row area so they can keep the arts alive and vibrant for themselves and their youthful audiences.

As well as learning key skills in performance, theatre managment, lighting, sound, props, design and theatre production including budgeting, marketing and front of house; the most important aspect and powerful learning phase of the project will be the key opportunity for participants to perform their own devised material to a ticket paying audience at our bespoke theatrical venue as part of The Frow Show's Preshow.

We are committed to supporting young people from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds, providing an opportunity to not only spark an interest in a creatively enriching and educational endeavour, but one that can also build their confidence and lead to vocational opportunities.

age uk

In 2023 we partnered with AgeUK to develop a show themed around the elderly community. As well as educating and informing our audiences about the experiences of old age in a time of uncertainty, we directly involved the elderly in the project, both as audience and via workshops at Age UK to source story content.
